Electroacoustic trio combining traditional dance rhythms and semi-forgotten instruments with samples, loops and other electronic effects. The name ba.fnu is a shortcut for bal folk nuevo – new approach to balfolk. The band offers traditional dance music, bal folk and fest-noz tunes and with a Czech twist.

Their repertoire it covers most of the general bal folk standards as scottishes, mazurkas, cercles, bourrées, etc., as well as Breton and Czech dances.
